SEASON # 23 HOLLYWOOD WESTERN STUDIO - JUNEAU, ALASKA JASON & AMY

So, far this season is very good.  I am writing this blog as it happened.  This was another fun season with some interesting teams which you love or hate them.

START:  Hollywood Western Studio                  FINISH:  Juneau, Alaska

PLAYERS(11 TEAMS)
1.  CHESTER/EPHRAIM - Black former NFL players.  TX  too lay back.
2.  ROWAN/SHANE - performers from NC.
3.  TIM/MARIA - Ex- lovers. from NJ.  fight too much with each other.
4.  LEO/JAMAL - cousin former from Afghanistan now from SC.  you either love them or hate them.
5.  ALLY/ASHLEY - blondes hockey ice crew from CA.
6.  NICOLE/TRAVIS - marry doctors (black) from GA  She became very quiet toward the end.
7.  HOSKOTE/NAINA- father & daughter of India original from CA.  First eliminated
8.  TIM/DANNY - oil workers from TX
9.  BRANDON/ADAM - friends from CA
10.  NICOLE/KIM - baseball wives. from KC /ILL.
11.  JASON/AMY - dating. snow cleaner from Boston, MASS. b


ELIMINATED:   Hoskote/ Naina -not reading the road block clue; Rowan/Shane - picked the wrong shoeshine cart in Road block; Ephraim/Chester - never got the right flights to Lisbon; Brandon/Adam-was u-turned & couldn't catch-up; Tim / Danny - couldn't do the detour;  Nicky / Kim; Ashley / Ally; Jamal / Leo.

                                                         SUMMARY
LEG #1:  EXPRESS PAS will be given out to the first pass team.  One for the & to be give out to another team by 5th leg.  Go to the FORD FESTA car receive a phone call for directions.  Fly to IQUIQUE, CHILE, go by taxi to ALTOHOSPICIO search Havre in ZANA DE PARPENTES.  ROAD BLOCK:  follow Para glider.  One partner will Para glide & the other search for them in taxi.
- 2 teams let their cabs go.

Proceed to MUELLE PRAT.  2ND ROAD BLOCK:  Collect 5 Fishes by rowing over to select boats.
one who Para glide must do this. 
- some team didn't read clue right & had to go back do it again.
PIT STOP :  TEATRO MUNICIPAL DE IQUIQUE:  must go by FOOT.  1st place:  Tim/Marie got the Express passes. 
-Nicole/Travis 30 minutes penalty for taking cab otherwise they would be in first place.
ELIMINATED:  Hoskote/Naina.

LEG #2:  go to deck of  MUSEO CORBETA ESMERLDA (boat).  see officer of day will post the next clue.    Must say a saying in Spanish to officer.  CHARGE THE SHIP, MEN.  Proceed to IRLANDA SALT MINES.  DETOUR:  Ride a BIKE  into the Salt Mines  either BRINING OR MINING.
- Rowan/Shane cab took the wrong place to detour.
- Nicole couldn't ride her bike.
Proceed along the coast to SANTIAGO, CHILE to PLAZA DE ARMAS.  ROAD BLOCK:  Shoeshine Carts. shine shoes, pack cart & take to storage area.
PIT STOP:  CASCADA DE LAS ANIMAS.  1st Place - Chester/Ephraim.
-Leo/Jamal would be in 1st but didn't settle their cab fee.
ELIMINATED:  Rowan/Shane.

LEG #3:  Fly to LISBON, PORTUGAL then #28 Tram  to MARTIZ SQUARE to top of Hill for next clue.

- Ephraim/Chester have so many flight troubles - delay, no flights missing etc.
-Nicole/Kim rushed passed the other to get on the stand bye list.
Received painting directing to go MUSEU NACIONAL DOS COCHES for next clue.
DETOUT:  TILES or MILES.
- put tiles pieces puzzle together or figure mileage for Magellium traveled.
Then proceed to CUBE PORTUGUES DE TIRO A CHUMBO for next clue.  ROAD BLOCK - SLINGS & ARROWS.
Then head to PIT STOP:  CASTELO DOS MOUROS
1st place ;  Nicole/Travis  beat out Amy/Jason whom got lost headed to pit stop.
ELIMINATED:  Ephraim/Chester.  Never arrived to do the challenges.  Phil met them at the Lisbon's airport.  ( Only team to eliminated at airport).

LEG #4:  Fly to SVOLVAER, NORWAY by plane & ferry to ARTIC CIRCLE for next clue.  (BODO, NORWAY).  for next clue.  DETOUR:  HAND YOUR HEADS or HAMMER THE CODS.
- string 6 bungle of 10 fish OR 15 pairs then hammer cod 1 kilo.
- Leo's wheelbarrow had a flat tire.
Take a HIGH SPEED ride to HENNINGSVAER, NORWAY for next clue.
ROAD BLOCK - Artic Plunge.
FOOD CHALLENGE:  take a Ford Trunk to pull a rock to reveal the next clue.
PIT STOP:  VIKING LONHOUSE.
    1st Place - Adam/ Brandon
- Ally/ Ashley can't drive a stick.
- Tim /Maria didn't get the clue from under the rock & tried to blackmail Travis /Nicole for help by Express pass.

                          CONTINUE RACING.
LEG #5  Take boat & plane to GDANSKI, POLAND to SOLDARITY SQUARE the beginning of the solidarity I shipyard for next clue.  Then travel by taxi to GOLDEN GATE for next clue.  DETOUR:  POSE or POLKA.  - pose like Neptune  or learn the polka dance.  Then search MEDEVIAL HARBOUR GAMES for the Harbor Manger. Must wear costumes  from the detour where the U-TURN is. 
U-TURN - Leo/Jamal was u-turned by Tim/Danny
                   Brandon/ Adam by Leo/Jamal.

Then make way to FALOWIC BLDG. (the longest 2 1/2 miles long in Poland) for next clue.
ROAD BLOCK - Find Rose Paczki.
Then find the PIT STOP:  Sopot Pier  the longest wooden pier in Baltic Sea.
1st - Tim/ Marie.
ELIMINATED:  Brandon/ Adam.
- Nicky / Kim kept passing the U-Turn many times.
- Tim/ Danny couldn't get the dance steps down.
- Marie / Tim use their express pass.
- gave their 2nd pass to Travis /Nicole.

LEG #6:  Take train to VIENNA, AUSTRIA  to OPERA HOUSE.  Find Rigoletta whom will lead them  to next clue.  DETOUR:  LIGHT BRIGRADE or MASQUERADE.  Make Chandelier light fixture or match masks.  FAST FORWARD:  DONAUTURM (tallest tower in Austria) bungee jump (if the weather is good ).  Amy / Jason went for it.  But couldn't do it. - weather.  Go to WIENER SANGERKNABEN for next clue.  ROAD BLOCK:  learn to sing DIE FORELLE by Franz Schubert in German.  Make way to SCHONBRUNN PALACE search maze for next clue.
PIT STOP - GLORIETTE.  1ST PLACE - Nicole/ Travis.
LAST - Danny / Tim Eliminated.
FIGHT:   Amy /Jason vs. Tim /Marie re:  taking their taxi.

LEG #7:  Fly to ABU DHABI, UNITED ARABIC EMIRATES  then make way to SHEIKH ZAYED MOSQUE for next clue.  Now go to IRANI SOUK.  DETOUR:  SORT IT OUT or SEW IT UP
- search for right dates & put them in correct design OR sew a fishing net.
Now go to AL BANDAR MARINA take a luxury yacht to YAS MARINA for next clue.
ROAD BLOCK:  Drop & Drive.  - drop 200 ft down then drive a formula one car find fastest driver name.
PIT STOP:  The Champions Podium - 1st Place - Leo / Jamal
 Last - Nicky /Kim - non-elimination.

LEG #8:  VIKING COIN PUZZLE  use the coin find in Norway to open car door. then head to SAND DUNES ride dune bunky follow the flags for next clues.  Proceed to AL AIN OASIS.  DETOUR:  Wedding Guests or Beauty Queen.
- prepare ceremony dish or pick a camel
- Nicky / Kim get stuck in the desert.
-Nicole / Travis used their EXPRESS PASS to bypass the detour.
DOUBLE U-TURN: Nicole/Travis u-turn Leo/Jamal 'caused they lied about u-turning in the past
                                - Marie/Tim u-turn Nicky/Kim for in inccident at the airport.
Go WADI ADVENTURE.   ROAD BLOCK:  Ride The Rapids.
PIT STOP:  an hotel up an winding road.  1st place:  Nicole/ Travis.
- Tim / Marie couldn't find the tower after the detour.
SPEED BUMP:  Nicky/ Kim for not being eliminated.  Swim across a wave pool before the next wave.
ELIMINATED:  Nicky / Kim.

LEG #9:  Fly to BANDUNG, INDONESIA then look for the RAM ARENA  for next clue.  Most pick out 2 rams & had them head block each other then put them back into the truck.  Go to RANCAEKEK TRAIN STATION travel by train back to BANDUNG. Look for next clue on platform.  DETOUR:  For the Elephants or For the Birds.
- get food for the elephant or make birds sing.
Now go to SAVNG ANGKLUNGUDJO for next clue.  ROAD BLOCK:  assemble Angklung (musical instrument )
- Nicole let her ego get in the way & couldn't figure it ou. Should had let Travis do it since he is musical.
PIT STOP :  BOSSCHA OBSERVATORY - 1st - Leo /Jamal
Eliminated - Ashley / Ally

LEG #10:  Go to KING COBRA HOUSE  must eat grilled snake for next clue
- Marie/ Tim got lost wasting time fighting.
- Marie doesn't eat any type of meat is a picky eater.
Go to main entrance KWAH DOMAS CRATER.    ROAD BLOCK:  Hard Boil Eggs.
- Marie doesn't know how to boil eggs.
DETOUR:  PAINT YOUR BRIDE   or TURN OVER NEW LEAF.
-paint each other or dress up & search for clippers.
-Jamal / Leo switch detour then switch back to turn over new leaf.
Descend 500 steps to PIT STOP:  CHIMACHI WATERFALL 1st Place - Jason / Amy
LAST - Jamal / Leo non-eliminated.

LEG #11  FINAL LEG.  Fly to TOKYO, JAPAN make way to GOTOKUJI TEMPLE which house ceramic cat statues for next clue.  DETOUR:  KNOCK IT DOWN or CALL IT UP.
- knock bowling pins   with human body OR listen to call under water.
Then make way to SHINJUKU CHUO KOEN Fountain for next clue.
SPEED BUMP - Leo/Jamal - Capture Escaped Rhino.
ROAD BLOCK - Build a Robot.
- Amy & Nicole team up to built their robot but Nicole again was having trouble.
Now found ROAMING VENDING MACHINE -at famous crossing.
Then go on Foot to PIT STOP - KONNO HACHIMANGU SHRINE
1st Place - Marie / Tim
2nd  place - Jason / Amy
3rd place - Travis / Nicole.
LAST - Jamal /Leo eliminated.
                                             PART II
Fly to JUNEAU, ALASKA (final city) - take marked boat to Douglass Island for next clue.  ROAD BLOCK -  Supply Drop. 
- Nicole again was having problems it took her 21 times to do road block.
Now ICE EXPEDITION find next clue in ice.  Now hiked down to the shore take kayak to marked island for next clue.   Now take helicopter back to JUNEAU to BLUEBERRY HILLS TRAIL HEAD for next clue.  Now build a WALL OF TOTEM POLES  which will spell out the money of countries they visited.  Now go to END OF DOUGLAS HWY find marked driveway for FINISH LINE.



1ST PLACE - AMY / JASON
2ND PLACE - MARIE / TIM   (60/40% in favor of Marie)
3RD PLACE - NICOLE / TRAVIS.  ( I think Nicole gave up toward the end)

FUTURE OF TEAMS:
Amy is currently on Dancing with Stars. (winter 2014).
2.  I saw Travis in some medical show ether on the HEALTH NETWORK being a doctor. Dec. 2014.

1.  Nicole is very timid & not very smart for a doctor.
2.  Marie is very bossy & Tim need to grow some balls.

SEASON #22 LOS ANGELES - WASHINGTON, D.C. ANTHONY & BATES

This is another boring season with a lot of not interesting players.  It took awhile to get to like these players.  A lot of whining when they knew that the race will involved a lot of running.

START: Los Angles                                                         FINISH:   Washington, D.C

ARRIVED:   by running, no transportation

PLAYERS (11):
1.   CHUCK/WYNONA:  from AL.  Country.  She was always complaining about she can't run & why would you come on the race  when it involves a lot of running.  (STUPID)
2.  BETH/MONA:  FROM COLORADO.   Roller Derby Moms.  I kind of like them.  Was hoping they win but they made a lot of mistakes.
3.  MAX/KATIE:  from  Buffalo, NY.  Newlyweds.  They thought they were going to win.  Very smart.
4.  ANTHONY/BATES:  from NC.  former Hockey Players.  THE WINNERS.  Didn't think they could win but they play a smart game.
5.  DAVE/CONNOR:  from UTAH.  Father & Son.  They looked liked a good team except the father in juried himself in the first leg & had to pulled themselves out of the game around the 3rd leg.
6.  JESSICA/JOHN:  from CA.  Dating.
7.  IDRIES/JAMIL:  from Chicago, ILL.  Twin Brothers Black.  Doctors.  Both are afraid of water which put them  behind & out of the race.  Another stupid teams which will come on the race knowing that there could be water challenge.
8.  PAM/WINNIE:  from CA.  Asian.  I thought they would go far but they keep getting lost.
9.  JOEY/MEGHAN:  from CA.  YouTube friends.  I thought he was gay.  He acted so gay.  Very stupid.
10.  MATT/DANIEL:  from SC.  Firemen.  
11.  CAROLINE/JENNIFER:  from TENN.  Country Singers.  Not very smart.  Kept teaming up with Bates & Anthony.

IDRIES/JAMIL - had water challenge which put them behind;
JESSICA/JOHN - went to wrong place during the detour & still had a an Express Pass;
DAVE/CONNOR - injury to father;

JOEY/MEGHAN - was U-Turn;
CHUCK/WYNONA - for being slow;
JENNIFER/CAROLINE - got stuck on the road block & put them behind.

                                                 SUMMARY
LEG #1:  EXPRESS PASS will be give out to first pace BUT  2 PASSES one to & one to give away by  4th leg.  Clue is inside the computer of FORD FUSION.  Go to airport & fly to BORA BORA.  ROAD BLOCK:  sign up for helicopter ride & drop out (skydive).  2 teams to a helicopter.
-Mona didn't know that & sign for the last instead of the 3rd copter.
2ND ROAD BLOCK:  the one that didn't sky dive must search SANDCASTLES for next clue.
- Chuck couldn't find the clue at the beach. 
PIT STOP- MOTU CAFE - 1st Place - Jessica/John
Eliminated:  Matt/John.
- 4 hrs. penalty for not competing the road block -Max/Katie & Caroline/Jennifer.

LEG #2: take water taxi to Motu Toopua Nui.  Search ground for WEDDING CHAPEL & priest for blessing & next clue.  DETOUR:  Pick a Pearl or Take a Trunk. 
- again Wynona complain about running.  What did she think she could walk thorough the race.
-Dave/Connor forget their snorkel equipment.
- The twins are afraid of the water.
Now take jet skis to MOTU TAPU for next clue.  ROAD BLOCK:  Kick a Coconut.
-Winnie/Pam got lost on jet ski.
-John/Connor injury himself.
PIT STOP:  Motu Tapu  1st:  Bates/Anthony
Eliminated:  Idries/Jamil.

LEG #3  Fly to CHRISTCHURCH, NEW ZEALAND.  Find the FORD FOCUS cars.  Drive to RAKAIA RIVER GORGE.
-Dave is on crutches.
Max/Katie gave John/Connor the 2nd Express Pass.
Jet Boat up river to next clue.  DETOUR:  Rev it up or Reel it In.
Then drive to MT. HUTT STATION.  ROAD BLOCK:  Shemozzle Race.
PIT STOP:  TERRACE DOWNS  1st Place:  Dave/Connor.
- they used their Express Pass.
no one eliminated continue racing.

LEG #4:  Fly to BALI, INDONESIA go to the MONKEY FOREST.  Choose a coconut & give it to monkey to open for next clue.  DETOUR:  Sandy Bottom or Fruity Top.  Proceed to ULUWATU SURF BEACH for next clue.  ROAD BLOCK:  Find surfboard with picture of something they had done (priest) & bring it to pit stop with your partner.
PIT STOP:  Top of Cliff  1st Place - Dave/Connor.
Eliminated:  Jessica/John.  never used their express pass.

LEG #5:  Fly to HANOI, VIETNAM  Find center of city.  RAP CONG NHAN - GALLERY 42 for next clue.
- Dave/Connor went to medical.  Then directly to pit stop to quit the race. 
ROAD BLOCK:  Find Political Quote in song.  Then proceed to CONG VIEN THONG NHAT & do dance.  DETOUR:  Make your Move or Make your Meal.  Then proceed to B-52 Memorial for next clue.  BLIND DOUBLE U-TURN: 
   Joey/Meghan by Pam/Winnie
   Chuck/Wynona by Joey/Meghan
PIT STOP :  Museum of National History 1st Place -  Winnie/Pam
Last:  Chuck/Wynona but not out 'cause Dave/Connor quit.

LEG #6:  Fly to MAUN, BOTWSWANA, find MACK AIR sign up for flight to MAKGADIKGADI PANS NATIONAL PARK.  Drive down road for next clue.  ROAD BLOCK:  Dig for Scorpion.
-many teams were afraid.
Then proceed to OLD XHUMAGA ROAD.
- Joey is acting like a wimp.
DETOUTR:  Fire or Foul
PIT STOP:  Take the Bushmen with you to MENO A KWENA SAFARI CAMP   1st Pace - Bates/Anthony.   Last - Max/Katie non-eliminated.  Have a speed bump.

7.  Drive to BORO VILLAGE.
- Caroline/Jennifer got a speeding ticket.
FAST FORWARD - Water Ski 1 mile in cradile  water. -Anthony/Bates.
Proceed to ROYAL TREE GAME PRESERVE.  SPEED BUMP: - Max/Katie -Ceremonial Dance.
- also they got a speeding ticket.
DETOUR:  Brains or Brawn.
PIT STOP :  ROYAL TREE LODGE - 1st Place - Bates/Anthony.
Last - Pam/Winnie.

8.  Fly to ZURICH, SWITZERLAND - Find CONDUCTOR for next clue. Take train to GRINDELWALD then find ALPHINE SHEPHERD.  Now travel by train to KLEINE SCHEIDEGG.
- I am sick of Wynona crying that she can not ran.
Travel by train again with their RECUE DOG to JUNGFRAUJOCH.  ROAD BLOCK:  Climb Eiger.
Now travel by train to GRINDELWAQLD GUND STATION.  SWITCH BACK:  Sled Cheese Hill from another season. 
PIT STOP:  BODMI SKI & SNOWBOARD SCHOOL 1st Place - Bates/Anthony.
Last:  Chuck/Wynona  receive a 30 minutes penalty for not using sled non-eliminated.

9.  Make way to DRESDEN, GERMANY. Get next clue on the computer in your car FORD FUSION and answer questions.  Drive over 100 miles to BRANDENBURG GATE.  Proceed to PARK INN HOTEL. - Base Fly.
DETOUR:  Train Trails or Font Follies.
Drive to SALON ZUR WILDEN RENATE.  ROAD BLOCK:  Identify JFK quote then enter into labyrinth search for clue.  PIT STOP:  KURFURSTENDOMM  1st Place - Max/Katie.
Last - Mona/Beth - non-eliminate .  Speed Bump.

10.  Fly to EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND.  Find  FORD FIESTA to GOSFORD HOUSE.  ROAD BLOCK:  Play Bagpipes.  Then search Fireplaces for next clue in CRAIGMILLAR CASTLE.  DETOUR:  Tasty Pudding  or Whiskey Rollin.

DOUBLE U-TURN: 
     Joey/Meghan by Anthony /Bates  and
     Mona/Beth by Max/Katie.
SPEED BUMP:  Mona/Beth - Play Skittles.
PIT STOP:  NUDDRY STREET SOUTH 1st Place - Max/Katie.
Last - Joey/Meghan.

11.  Go to BELFAST, NORTHERN IRELAND take train - the ferry.  Pick up FORD FIESTA drive to PEATLAND PARK.  ROAD BLOCK:  Bog Snorkeling.  Then find THING WITH A RING. (statue).  -Jennifer could not do the road block.  took many attempts.
DETOUR:  Tray it  or Spray it..
PIT STOP:  ULSTER HALL - 1st Place - Max/Katie.
Last:  Jennifer/Caroline.

PART II OF LEG #11:     FINAL THREE
                       Bates/Anthony
                       Mona/Beth
                       Max/Katie.
Take a ferry to LONDON, ENGLAND.  Find the EUSTONTOP - order 2 pints.  Now Fly to FINAL CITY - WASHINGTON, D.C.  Go to steps where ML KING gave his speech.  (LINCOLN MEMORIAL) .  Then proceed to 100 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE take a picture with the president.
- many teams thought they was going have pix with the REAL president.
-Mona/Beth gave their taxi driver of the white house (1600) instead 1100.
Now go to the TIDAL BASIN & find marked car.
SWITCH BACK - Spy Game.  from another season.
Now go to NATIOANAL STADIUM - Play Ball.  Then go to HAINES POINT.  Go Global  find the 10 countries that visited & put them in order.  Now go to FINISH LINE: MT. VERON'S GEORGE WASHINGTON HOME.:
    1st Place - Bates/Anthony
    2nd - Max/Katie
    3rd Place - Mona/Beth.

                                                 3-22-2014  UPDATE SUMMARY
1.  Wynona should had known that the race will involved a lot of running and be prepared for it.
2.  The twins should had practice on their swimming.

SEASON #21 PASENDA, CA TO NYC JOSH & BRETT

Again, it started off boring then it became fun to watch,

START:  Southern CA in Pasadena bridge    FINISH:  New York City  Gotham Hall

PLAYERS (11 Teams)
1.  TREY & LEXI:  from Texas dating.  College football player & cheerleader.  She young & loud.
2.  NATALIE & NADIYA:  twins original from Sri Lanka.  (minority)  from NY.  They are loud & clowning around all the time instead of playing the game.
3. JAMES & JAYMES:  NV Chippendale dancer.  I wonder if they are gay
4.  JAMES & ABBA:  CA.  Best Friends. Old time Rock Star & lawyer.
5. JOSH & BRETT:   NY gay couple.  Goat Farmers.  Beckman People.  THE WINNERS.
6.  AMY & DANIEL:  CO  dating.  She has prosthetics legs  .Too  nice let another take 1st place.
7.  CAITLIN & BRITTANY:  Midwestern.  Best friends.  Blonde another stupid team.
8.  ROB & SHEILA:  TN engaged.  Lumberjack.
9.  GARY & WILL:  MI. Best Friends.  substitute teachers. Short & Tall.
10.  ABBIE & RYAN: CA Dating.  He want to beat last season winner record in wins.
11.  ROB & KELLY:  CA  Monster truckers.

ELIMINATED:  Rob & Sheila, Amy & Daniel (I didn't see much of them), Caitlin & Brittany (taxi driver argued over the payments), Gary & Will, Rob & Kelly,  Abba & James (lost passport), Abbie & Ryan, and The Twins.
