SEASON #8 - THE FAMILY EDITION (GROUP OF 4) NEW YORK CITY-LEWISTON, NY THE LINZ FAMILY

The critics didn't like this season but I did except for The Weaver's family.  I love seeing USA.  I am so surprised that the younger generation does not know much about their own country.

2.  LINZ FAMILY - Megan, Nick,  Tommy, & Alex. from Cinn, Ohio  THE WINNERS.
3.  PAOLO FAMILY - Marion, Tony, Brian.& DJ from NY. Marion need to be more patience & understandable.  DJ need to learn to trust his mother.
4.  THE BLACK FAMILY -  Kenny, Kim, Reggie, & Austin from Woodbridge, VA.  the first family eliminated.  The other family with little ones.  (black).
5.  BRANDEN FAMILY - Wally, Lindsey, Lauren, & Beth. 
6.  WEAVER FAMILY - Linda, Rachel, Rebecca & Rolly. from FL.  Not very friendly.  They isolated themselves from the other families.  Refused to be friendly.  Also, not very smart.  Made many stupid comments about geography.  They thought they were better than the other families.  Instead of trying to make friends they made enemies.  I thought Christian were supposed to be friendly.
7.  AIELLO FAMILY - Tony, Matt, David & Kevin from Boston.
8.  SCHROEDER FAMILY - Cassi, Hunter, Mark & Char from New Orleans.  Got lost in their home town & was eliminated in New Orleans.  Father needs to trust his son with directions.
9.  GODLEWSKI - Michelle, Tricia, Christine & Sharon.  from Ill.  They fought among themselves.  Christine cry often.
10.  RODGERS - Demi, Brock, Renee, & Brick. from Shreveport,  LA.

                                                             SUMMARY
1.  Weavers are terrible players.  They are stupid. Penna. means the state of Penna.  They knocked over the supplies stand in New York City.  Linda isn't familiar with an airport.  They were raised to trust no-one only themselves.  Linda got the van in Costa Rico stuck on the grass & got upset.
2.  Drive to Phila. - Belmont Plateau which is my home city.  I know where that is

3.  AGAIN, players still do not read all their clues.

4.  Kevin & Drew from Season #1 is in part of the clue.  I was glad to see some know them.
5.  Weaver is always screaming & blaming them for their errors.  They did not want to hang out with the other teams.  Just go up to them & say hello.  They didn't do that. 
6.  AGAIN, READ  ALL THE CLUES.

7.  Chrissy is always crying.  Stand up for yourselves.
8.  Weaver need know their geography.  Thought Lake Pontchartrain was a great lake
9.  Another family got lost in their home town area - Schroeder.  Dad didn't want to listen to the daughter for advise.  When you form a team everyone SHOULD be listen to & have all rights of team player & not a family member.
10.  Weavers again thinking they are BETTER because they are CHRISTIANS.  Give me a break - I am sick of Christians think they are better.
11. Why did Tony Paolo swim in the challenge instead letting his son do it.  (PRIDE).

1.  Rob came up with a good plan when he didn't want to do a road block.
2.  NEW TWIST:  when a non-eliminated leg the players have to give up money & their luggage. (I do not like this)
3.  Again, read clue but another team look for the clue.
3.  Don't ask local for the directions toward a challenge.
4.  Kelly makes stupid comment about Ron's army history.
5.  Rob also makes stupid comments about Uchenna is following the old people BUT Rob was falling behind.
6.  Kelly using lipstick of a stranger.  She doesn't know that girl doesn't any sickness.
7.  Rob got caught lying about time buses left in 2nd episode.
8.  Teams should learn to get maps.
9.  DO NOT COME ON RACE - looking for romance.  It is not the time for romance.
10.  NEW TWIST: (I do not like it) non-elimination leg take away all money & clothes in backpack.
11.  Stop worrying what Rob & Amber doing - worrying about your own race - Lynn & Alex spent the whole race worrying about them.
12.  In Turkey Rob was bragging about being in first place while they were in 3rd place.
13.  Kelly kept starting fight with Ron - when Ron was doing nothing but think about the race.  She was so worry about their relationship.  She need to grows up.
14.  CAR ACCIDENT - Brian & Greg.  Lynn & Alex had one & a flat tire.
15.  GRETCHEN & MEREDITH are the oldest couple to make to final 4 for far.
16.  In India Kelly & Ron should had YIELD Rob & Amber but didn't cause they could not think for themselves.
17.  I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW THE PRIZES ARE AWARDED - WHY DIDN'T UCHENNA & JOYCE GET A PRIZE FOR COMING IN 1ST PLACE IN INDIA?   racist.
18.  In South Africa when headed to the airport Lynn & Alex made some racial comments.

You either like this season or you hate it.  It has some teams you either hate.  I turn on the MUTE on  when certain team is on.  I could pass on this season.  The first time the teams did not have any cars to get them to the airport - had to use public transportation.

6.   JONATHAN & VICTORIA - marry.  He is very abusive & had to go on Dr. Phil.  Was glad when he was finally eliminated.

Another great season.  First time a Black team won.  Wish they gave out  first place leg winners  give out prizes..  (I could say they were prejudges).  Chip & Kim didn't get a prize when they won 1st place.  Also, DO NOT USE any Big Brothers players. They seem not to be very smart.  (that's my opinion)

SUMMARY
1.  Take the time to rest - don't spend the whole time researching like Millie did.
2.  Don't argue with your partner.
3.  Tell ticket agents what you want  economy & repeat it CLEARLY.  Don't yell at them.
4.  Be PREPARED for India - culture shock.

5.  DON'T share a taxi toward the end of race - one team might want to leave the taxi when they completed their task.
6.  AGAIN, read ALL the clues - Reichen & Chip didn't read that they were to walk.
7.  Don't rush past the table - Kelly & Jon missed the camera that was used in the challenge.
8.  Chip & Reichen 1st car accident and 1st car broken at the beginning of race - Tian & Jaree.
9.  Steve couldn't make up his mind coming to the hotel.
10.  The Clowns need to stop fooling around & start thinking about the race.
11.  Millie & Chuck spent too time study the next leg of the race that they did not sleep.  She doesn't know how to read maps.
12.  Chip has good stomach which helped him win some of the eating challenges.

14.  ICE TASK:  in South Korea.

SEASON #3 EVERGLADES, FL. - SEATTLE, WA. FLO & ZACH

This season was fun except for the winner, Flo.  I could not stand her emotional break down & flirting and yelling at Zack.

1.  Eve wasn't happy with the race.  She got tired of racing.
2.  Flo is a flirt and cry baby.  She needs to grow up and stop acting immature.
3.  Heather & Eve doesn't know what the word "walk" means.  The clue said to walk to the pit stop instead they took a cab.
4.  Team 911 should buy their own map & learn how to get around the areas.
5.  In Europe - cars MIGHT take diesel instead of regular gas.  Check first.
6.  Jill was smart at the waterfall for keeping her boat wait for them keeping the teams' boat from getting in.
7.  Flo didn't do any road blocks.
8.  Dennis & Andrew first team to use the FAST FORWARD and to be eliminated.
9.  REMEMBER  to read all the clues.
10.  Don't yell at cab drivers - get maps. books.
11.  Back into parking space.
12.  Don't bring regular suitcase that you have drag behind you - carry backpacks.
13.  Don't yell TAXI until you get outside of the airport.  Ian was good for that.
14.  I just noticed that Flo crying is only act for the cameras.  When the cameras are not on her she acts normal BUT when then the cameras are on her she starts to cry.

15.  I am re-watching the series again.  I hope Flo has matured.
16.  I didn't catch it the first time but Terry seam to be slow when getting out the cars or taxis.
17.  The twins seem to rush too much & missed clues.  Relay  too much on the locals.
18.  The law school girls shouln't  have trust their cameramen.  They know the rules.
19.  Harry of the Early Show is a good interview & know the show.

10.  Why did the players have a 24 hours rest period in Johannesburg instead of the usual 12 rest period.?

Since, this the FIRST SEASON I will not comment too much on the players. It is STILL a good season.  It been about 14 yrs. now.  I wonder how the team changed.

2.  PAUL & AMY - engaged couple.  Got lost in the desert.  Didn't finished that lap.  Now marry.  Cried lot.
3.  KIM & LESLIE - friends. from Texas. Not very friendly, stole cab from Amy/Paul. Didn't see clue box in Paris.
4.  LENNY & KAREN - dating. She was bossy that they broke up after the race.(black)
